Announcing one of the first SorareData employees: Andrew Laird

We’re very excited to announce that, starting October 11th, Andrew Laird is joining SorareData as our new head of content.

Andrew joins SorareData after nearly 14 years at RotoWire, including the last nine as their Senior Soccer Editor. He is the host of the RotoWire Fantasy Soccer Podcast, the №1 daily fantasy soccer podcast on Apple, Spotify and Google, and is a nine-time Fantasy Sports Writers Association awards finalist, including a two-time winner of the Soccer Writer of the Year Award.

Prior to joining RotoWire, Andrew worked in the financial services industry at UBS and Fortis Prime Fund Solutions. He is a 2003 graduate of Villanova University and received his Masters in Sports Business from New York University in 2011.

Andrew will lead SorareData’s content strategy and produce user guides, newsletters, video content and social media content dedicated to our users so they can take full profit of all SD features.

We are delighted to have Andrew onboard and his experience will help Sorare managers around the world make even better gallery and SO5 decisions.

We’re also very happy to share that the SD team has grown big time with the addition of a mobile app developer, a product designer, a product owner and soon two full-stack engineers. More on this later.
